FrontierVille Livestock Pen Goals: Everything you need to know

Earlier this evening, we brought you the step-by-step guide for building your new Livestock Pen on your Homestead in FrontierVille. Along with working on this time-consuming building, you can also work on an accompanying set of four Livestock Pen goals, which we'll talk about here.

The first goal is called "This Little Piggie," and it asks you to complete three very simple tasks:

Tend 15 Pigs Anywhere
Hire Bess
Have or Place a Livestock Pen

The Livestock Pen's base is all that needs to be built on your Homestead for this task to complete. Meanwhile, you can tend either 15 of your own pigs, or pigs on your neighbors' Homesteads until you reach 15. As we said - it shouldn't be too hard to find 15 pigs in total, so you'll pass this one quickly. For completing this first mission, you'll receive 50 Food and 500 XP. Part II of this four-part series is called Baa Baa Black Sheep, and yes, it deals with both Sheep and Wool.

Tend 20 Sheep Anywhere
Collect 15 Bags of Wool
Harvest 20 Corn

The Sheep, just as with the Pigs, can be tended on your own Homestead, or on your neighbors'. Meanwhile, you'll need to use your neighbors' help to acquire the Bags of Wool, by sending individual gift requests to friends. Finishing this second quest gives you 750 XP and 100 Food.

For Part III of IV, you'll move onto the last of the three animals associated with the Livestock Pen - the Goat.

Tend 30 Goats Anywhere
Collect 15 Goat Hats
Store One Animal in your Livestock Pen

This is the first goal that will actually require you to complete your Livestock Pen's construction. For a complete look at how to do just that, click right here to check out our guide. Just remember to save some gift requests, so that you can ask your friends for the Goat Hats. This third mission has some pretty nice rewards, at least in terms of the XP gained: 1,000 XP and 150 Food.

Finally, we move onto Part IV of IV, which will likely be the most time consuming of the bunch.

Clear 25 Debris on your Neighbors' Homesteads
Collect Two Daily Bonuses from the Livestock Pen
Store 100 Animals in the Livestock Pen

You'll can only store adult animals in the Livestock Pen, so start stocking up on adult Pigs, Goats, and Sheep now to not have to grow all new animals just to complete this task (and then wait even longer to do so). If you're lucky, you'll just have to wait the full 24 hours for your Daily Bonus to recharge and can then call these missions complete. Your prizes for finishing off this mission series are great - 1,500 XP, 2,000 coins, and a Black Sheep.

Hopefully, with the release of the Livestock Pen, this doesn't mean that any sort of nasty new Varmint will be added to the game that will eat our Goats, Pigs, or Sheep that are outside of the building. Luckily, that doesn't seem to be the case right now, but we'll make sure to keep an eye on things either way.
